Early reading skills for your toddler

I am often asked what parents can be doing to help their toddlers develop the early skills needed to learn to read. In this video, I cover five foundational concepts that will support your toddler to understand how books work. These basic understandings form the foundation upon which further skills can be developed.

I will be adding more videos to cover other skills over the coming months. To stay up-to-date, please subscribe to the YouTube page and turn on the notifications (so you'll be notified directly of new videos) or subscribe to this blog and I'll post updates here for you as well.

If you have any questions you'd like me to answer regarding early learning, please feel free to send an email to jane@lavenderlearning.com.au and I'll do my best to respond to you via email directly, or via a blog post or a video - particularly if your question is one that many people ask.

I look forward to helping you!

Jane
